Pink Festival

Saturday 30 August 2008

The Grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall, Cherry Hinton Rd, Cambridge

noon to 9pm

A group outing just after my birthday, what more could I ask for?

So did you get out your best party dress, and join us for the day?

We even won a prize for the best dressed stall!

Grand Relaunch Party

Wednesday 21st May 2008

Rose & Crown and Bird in Hand

8pm until very, very late!

A grand turn-out and fun was had by all.

So get out your best party dress, and join us for the evening.

It won't be the same without you! It was a good night... why weren't you there?

Rose and Crown

cambridge-pubs.co.uk: Rose and Crown

good 110, Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8HE

The Rose & Crown public house was open to all expressions of gender and sexuality. Unfortunately, it is now only open to Hard-hatted demolition teams.

The Rose & Crown has a very late licence, so take a trip to other venues in town to finish off the evening, or stay in the Rose & Crown to enjoy the evening at your own pace, safe in the knowledge that you can change back into drab at a time of your choosing. Blush is a regular after-meeting session held every two weeks, and is a very short walk away.

Changing facilities are often available if required, but please contact the very helpful staff in advance outside normal meetings. There is car parking in the back streets (Occupation Road) next to the pub, but it is shared by student accommodation so may be limited at times.

The Rose & Crown used to host the regular weekly meeting of the Diamonds. This is now at the Cornerhouse

The Dot Cotton After Party was held at the Rose & Crown until Dawn. This can now be found at the Bird in Hand.

Cellar Bar 8

localsecrets.com: Cellar bar 8

14 Tredgold Lane, Napier Street, Cambridge, CB1 1HN.

Note that this club presents a number of different personalities on each night of the week, many of which may not be appropriate for cross-dressers.

Blush

On Wednesdays (fortnightly), there's Blush, which is a gay lounge night with free entry, run by the lovely Riccy, who spins some funky house music. A chance to dance and have fun, some of our members venture over after the weekly meeting at the Rose & Crown.

The blush club night occurs every two weeks on Wednesday 10pm until late.

Unfortunately, the regular Blush slot is no more, however Riccy is trying to organise a new event.
